Guys,
Forgive the basic question. I am used to shooting a service rifle and am looking to purchase a new scope. My iron sights move up/right with a clockwise turn. Would like my scope to move in the same directions. So what would I need CW or CCW. Thank you all.

Re: CW/CCW question

Counter Clockwise (CCW)- Turn the turret to the right (-->) to go up in elevation

Clockwise (CW)- Turn the turret to the left (<--) to go up in elevation

Most scopes are CCW...at least the ones I've used, such as Leupold MK 4, MK8 CQBSS

That's the info I was looking for. Thank you.

Hmmm, not exactly. Looking down on my CCW scope I turn the elevation turret counter clockwise, to increase elevation thus raising the point of impact. The windage turret is turned CCW to move the point of impact to the right.

The convention is pretty much CCW in the USA and CW in Europe.
