When PTSD Hitler got SO angry about WW1 and his betrayal, he made it his life's work to crush Communists and the Berlin judiciary. (Germany was moving Millions of hardened eastern front troops to push out US and Britain out of France in 1918....Germany could have very plausibly won WW1).
He set his sights on Poland in 1939 (50% Prussia) and set out to maul his perceived enemies and Polish Communist Party. He did.

I'm thinking they have proven themselves no better than the pogroms that almost exterminated them and instead may have learned from and assimilated the tactics used against them.
Or maybe it's a natural human tactic used on any elementary school yard, label and ostracize your enemy, turning all others against them.

eta- I have a Jewish friend I've known since high school. He's ferocious in business and quite wealthy. But he doesn't come off as a manly man and gets taken advantage of by women. This one lady he was smittin with wanted to learn to shoot, specifically an AR15. So my friend calls me and asks me to teach him how to shoot an AR so he in turn can impress his new love interest.
I told him sure, that he needs to buy an AR anyway, every man should own at least one, and at least 5K rds of ammo. He was cool to that. I went on and told him he of all people should be an AR owner, that I shouldn't have to explain why. He was still less than excited.
His deal with the ladyfriend fizzled out quickly and he never mentioned anything else about her or wanting to learn to shoot. However, the Columbine massacre happened not long afterwards and he confronted me with the fact that it was because the shooter used an AR15 and people like me were to blame.

Agree with you for the most part. And, perhaps I am unintentionally arguing simple semantics. If so, my apologies.
I grew up in a neighborhood that was well represented by Jewish people. Many of whom were my friends. This was in the early/mid/late sixties. Not even 20 years after the holocaust. Every last Jewish person was left leaning. In those days, the division between left and right was nowhere close to what it is today.
In later life, I had numerous Jewish friends, again, all left leaning. I'd have conversations with them about who they were supporting and why. I never really got any answers that I could grab onto. They just seemed so indoctrinated and supportive of the agenda/narrative they were being fed, I finally realized they were never going to see the truth.
So, in terms of "they deserve better", this is where I have a difference of opinion. They have been, are getting and will continue to get the treatment that we all know is wrong. That won't change until they change. They need to wise up. I've tried, but I have come to realize that I can't do it for them. They have to do it for themselves.
"They have to do it for themselves..." Right? Isn't that the story of every downtrodden people who fled instead of fixing things? I don't want to see military-age males in 'refugee streams' from anywhere.

Like yourself and in the same time frame, I had a lot of Jewish friends. Spent the night in may of their families homes. I dont remember any politics, but I do remember always being treated with respect and kindness.

A small percentage of them are indeed feeding the narrative, on that we can agree. The vast majority appear to be simply followers. Those are the ones that need to break out of the tribal narrative and do their own thinking. Those are the people that I'm referring to.
