Forming load is

Pushes along about 3050 fps and shoots into one hole frequently.

Cooper Arms M21, 24" barrel w/ 1-14 twist

With fire formed Winchester brass, 50 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip on top of 28.0 gr Benchmark, Rem 7 1/2 primers, flies at 3650 fps.
THIS LOAD SHOOTS LITERAL 1 HOLE GROUPS OUT OF MY RIFLE AT 100 YARDS. Best group (wallet photo!) measured .051" 5-shots. I shoot it sitting at a bench, mostly for prairie dogs (absolutely destroys them).

Same brass and primers, 40 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip on top of 28.2 gr H335, flies around 4000 fps (haven't chronographed this load yet). Shoots almost as good as 50 grainers.

Just for giggles, I am punching out my .223 SPS Tactical with the 20" 1/9tw bl. I have a bunch of 62gn Nosler Varmegeddons and about 10,000 pcs of WW brass to play with for a fun little yote and cat round. Anyone have any info with 55 & 60/62gn pills? Thx in advance.
I doubt you'll be let down by H-335 or 8208 XBR with those.

Easy shooting load, .25-.30 groups. Fun load to shoot out to 2000.

Ok, here's a new one I really like; .338AI, 256 gr Flatline, 102 grs Retumbo @ 3200 fps (7000' DA & 32" Krieger w/ 1 in 9.3). COAL of 4.080 (single feed). Just ran some of these, gets me out to 2500k in short order. A lot can go wrong in 4 seconds though lol......

338 LMM Imp. My reamer print.
Single shot Barnard
30" barrel 300 grain OTM @ 3075
109 grains Rel 33. Not a mild load, but that's not why I built it!

Anybody have a good pet load for fireforming 223ai?

I’ll be using Lapua brass, 75gr eldm with Varget, 8208 or H4895.

Fireforming some LC LR Brass.

26" long tube
1/9 twist
Approximately 2k rounds on the barrel.

So accuracy is great, but the velocity has tapered off with the 180's. 44.5--->47.7 only gets me 80fps.

Perfect timing. I've got a 1/7 bart I'm looking to get spun up. My Smith's reamer has .120 freebore. My plan is running the 88s as close to my mag max length at 2.550. How far are you loading yours out to? Should give me a ballpark

Has anyone ran the 69 or 77TMK in 223AI? Possibly even the 75gr Hornady HPBT. It was my understanding that the 80's and higher were the way to go, but recently read this article.... 223AI-69tmk-77tmk-80smk

At 3200fps the 69TMK was the vertical winner at 800 and 1000yds and only gave up 0.4mil in wind to the 80smk. Has me thinking of trying some of the 77TMK's I have lying around.

No, but I use IMR 7828 SSC, and am considering trying 7977 next.
That is what I am using as well. Going to go to re 26 though. It has worked really well in 6 creedmoor, 6.5 saum, 300win mag.

Yeah that’s cooking! I need to finish my load dev on mine I ran out of time before a hunt but it still did the job!
I’ve got a 25-06 AI I just started forming brass on. Planning on using 87 grain speeR TNT bullets if they shoot well. Shoot scoot along pretty good. I have a fast twist brux barrel in the safe… I’m gonna do some sorta 25 cal to shoot heavies with, just haven’t decided what yet. I’m a big fan of the 257 AI, just have to find someone with a reamer

Alamo precision rifles did mine. It’s a 7 twist originally planned to shoot blackjacks but got screwed in that deal like a lot of others. I’m liking the 110 accubonds and may leave those with it as I’m looking at two more 25 cal builds for the Berger 135s

I’ve had good luck with the 110 accubonds, they just are hard to find. Luckily I scored 6 boxes last week!

My apologies for the necro post but I’m tagging this for when I get my 06 barrel punched out with a 40 degree shoulder.
