Re: DECEMBER 2011 SH 100 to 300 YD RIMFIRE COMPETITION

Hey TP, I would say at least one of those shots has the grease ring cutting the 10 ring. I would score that a 249-11x.
Much improved over last month!

Name: D_TROS
Class: Scope
Rifle: 40 XRBR
Caliber: .22LR
Ammo: Lapua Center-X
Match: 100YP-TQ4
Score: 245-8X

NAME: D_TROS
Class: Scope
Rifle: 40 XRBR
Caliber: .22LR
Ammo: Lapua Center-X
MATCH: 100YP-25RD
SCORE: 23 OF 25 - 8X

Notes: was cold out, and for some reason, either a bad lot of ammo or something, I had 2 shots while practicing, and 2 shots while shooting, hit 2 inches low. Not sure why the jump, I felt very good mechanically firing, but the bullet landed low.

May be time to clean the 'ol beast.

Regards,
DT

First time new member, but have been reading on this fine forum for about 2 years, I have got a used Russian CM-2 rifle that i bought second hand, someone before i bought it have taken the sights off and drilled and taped for scope, so i thought this rifle would be fun to use in this 100 yard competition.

Only 3 guys this month, historically low participation during the winter months mostly due (GUESSING) to unfavorable weather, holidays, and hunting seasons.

December had 1 new shooter, welcome ONEFORALL.

This wraps 2011, shoot safe and straight in 2012.
