I have a Dillon RL550B, Dillon RL650 (with Mr. Bulletfeeder), and a Short Action Customs Nexus (and little Lee classic cast for little odds and ends). Love them all. None of them are going anywhere. Will continue to do bulk reloading on the 650, rifle and pistol.
At this point it’s going to be a machine to process 223 and 300 blackout brass on. I don’t want a CP2000 because it’s not that much less and is limiting. I want something that should I choose to down the road I can load on.
Even though I’m completely out of room at this point, I’m looking at 5 gallon buckets of brass that need to be processed and the though of processing thousands of pieces of brass on my Dillon Super Swager is making me a sad panda. I need a press with on press swaging…
I have no intention of automation, but, we’ve all been around long enough to know how that goes.
I haven’t used either.
I live 2 miles from Dillon.
Read as much as I can. Understand the differences, pros, and cons. As with most things, seems they both have pros and cons.
They are similarly priced.
Just asking to see if those that have used either or both have any compelling reasons to steer me in one direction or the other?
Should I just get the Mark 7 Apex 10 and future proof myself?
Thank you
