Nice vidieo, thanks. Ive been in some cenotes around Yucatan, and below 100 ft in the Carribean, but never had the cajones for cave diving....always want to be where i can see the bluesky above me...I know tha twith one breathI can reach the surface even if I have to decompress. We've got some wrecks of German UBoats of the coast here that are fun. does he dive air or Nitrox?

I've dove the Mariana caverns a looooong time ago, but all we did was poke in a little then come out. I was brand spankin' new to diving then and heeded the warning... LOL

The water there is crystal clear.

Goldie... I know he uses all sorts. he has rebreathers, does mixed gases, not a diver myself so I don't know which for sure. I know he goes 350+ on the wrecks in Great Lakes.

Sure beats the recovery diving we do here in the reservoirs.

S&R recovery here ten years ago. Buddy said they couldn't even see hand in front of face 12 feet down. Run off and high rivers....

Nice, great visibility. Brings back memories of 30 years ago, doing my open water certification down there!

Re: diving Jackson Blue cave on Dec 30, 2010.

Looked back in my log and of about 75 dives I have 3 that had better than 18 inches of viz. Have several marked as zero viz. 2 or 3 years ago I actually ran square into a tree and never saw it while looking for a kid that had gone down 2 days before. After I pulled my divers out due to another storm coming in he was found the next day directly on the path of our next planned drop.

I just got back from Hawaii where my wife and I got to do some great reef dives. Got rained out for our wreck day though. The viz was fantastic, easily over 100+ feet. It was like diving in your swimming pool, only with enormous sea turtles floating around getting their shells cleaned by little fish. Great experience.
