Rifle Scopes EGW dual extended base question

I am looking to get a Gen4 SH IOR and am wondering if this: http://egw-guns.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_128&products_id=247
will work on a left handed Rem700. It doesn't specify left handed or right handed.

Yes, however on a rifle with some recoil and a heavy scope I generally prefer a base with a recoil lug. It takes some of the stress off of the mounting screws.

With the IOR you may not have a lot of other choices though.

This is going on a .308 so the recoil shouldn't be too bad. Where would I find a base like this with a recoil lug?

I am like most here an enthusiast on a budget, so I don't think I could swing an expensive base. But I'm up to suggestions.
