This reminds me of my first memory of Philadelphia, I was there for work, driving thru some dump area and listing to a morning show radio and they were talking about the police finding an infant dead in its high chair, starved to death, the parents where both dead from overdosed on the couch... people are fucking the worst. The all mighty needs to clean us up directly...

Meanwhile, here in Charlottesville, and no doubt many other liberal enclaves, this is going on:

I drove a cab for 3 months last fall. My best fares were picking up the opioid addicts to go to the clinic for methadone. The state payed for it. there were several in my county that I got $50-60 to pick up, drive 20 miles wait 5 minutes while they went in for their FREE fix, then drive them home for the same fee. One just a bit up the road I got $70 for each way, and the ones over the mt. in Harrisonburg I got $120 each way. Thats 6 days a week (on Sat they let them take Sunday's supply home). I was making $700 $1000 a week for 30 hours and we had a bunch of drivers that did nothing but them. Every penny of it coming out of the taxpayers pocket...to give free dope to addicts.

Slightly different, one morning I pulled into a trailer park (not mobile home TRAILER) and picked up a Hispanic woman and her young son to take to UVA hospital (a $120 ride each way) for free treatment. Nice lady and the kid was really sick. On the way out of the park a school bus pulled up and I had to stop. As soon as it stopped it was like a swarm of locusts, 40 - 50 kids, all Hispanic, charging at the bus. Apparently the entire park is Hispanic. Ill bet 90% or them are on one form of welfare or another. Again, it adds up, all coming out of our pockets.

You see the news reports of the problems with the Heroin crisis... people like collapsed on the sidewalk, passed out in their car at the stop light, basically dropping randomly on the spot like some alien plague hit them.

Damn man, that kind of shit triggers me big time. Cannot stand it when innocent children are put through such horrors. Just your condensed version alone sounds awful enough. Imagine the sight that greeted the first responders who came upon that scene.

I am with it. On certain conditions.

1. No Narcan for the ones that OD. They made their choice in life. They get to deal with it.

2. Users must surrender custody to any children and not be allowed to assume caregiver roles for family members, animals, etc.

3. In the event of illness, and it does not have to stem from the use of heroin, they will still be barred from receiving organ transplants, blood transfusions, etc. There are people out there who are in genuine need of critical medical services due to injuries and natural illness. Junkies need not apply.

After these conditions are met they can buy ALL the smack they can afford and shoot up whenever the fuck they want. All proceeds from the sales will go to cancer and medical research.

People who are clear-set in their life goals just will not fall into the trap of drug use and other activities resulting from weak willpower and self control. Those who want to use drugs? Well, history has shown that even the most draconian government efforts will not deter these people from finding a way.
