Here's some pictures of my Grandfather's Winchester 06 I just finished today. As you can see the stock was destroyed and the finish was all but gone. My father has no idea I was working on it. Its going to be a great Christmas present. I got new wood from Boyds. My dad did a great job craving up the old stock when he was a kick. I bead blasted the old finish off and used Gunkote matt black. I needed a few parts from the web which weren't too hard to find. I was able to save most of the old hardware with some filing and recutting the slots. Can't wait to give it back to him.
