Gunsmithing Flush Cup ever so slightly too low in stock ?

Folks,

on one of my rifles the flush cup is siting ever so low in the stock therefore not allowing the sling to catch and stay engaged proprly (luck I discovered this before a hunt !!)

what is the fix ? I dont want to send the stock back, is there a "round sanding" tool that would fit on a dremel and neatly remove a little material ? Its only missing by a bit. Its a Manners tactical stock.

Before you do anything to the stock, I would try a few different swivels. The variation in swivel design can be relatively drastic.

And yes, dremel makes a stone ball on a stick Looks like a small abrasive tootsie pop

Thankyou folks, I wonder with that hex head at the bottom could you just wind it out a turn or two ?

not if it was installed correctly as it should be epoxied as well

So can you "Break" the seal of the eopoxy, wind out two turns and epoxy back in ?

If so whats the method to do this......how do you "un-install" a flush scup in a manners stock

Cheers pc3 </div></div> hi pc3, send me a pm with your contact info, I will get you squared away. That should have been caught before shipping. It is a very quick fix, we have a tool that inserts in the cup and warms the marine-Tex, it is then unscrewed and reinstalled.
