This may be what's in store for us? Not to be alarmist but there are some very compelling points made here.

Not inspired by the racial aspects of his piece.
Fighting against tyrannical govt applies to all races/sexes.
You are American and swear an oath to the Constitution and the Republic which it protects or you are something else.
An acid test I've found concerning your topic.I agree that his repeated references to race detracted from his otherwise good arguments, but at the same time we shouldn't discount the racial disaffection he is voicing. I have ZERO connection to "white people" oppressing other people as recently as fifty years ago...ZERO. Pretending that I do because I vaguely look like them is about the most racist/ignorant train of thought that can exist, and those who have it are morons. Trying to make me responsible for past oppression and trying to punish me or my children for it is the opposite of "Justice". Calling it "Social Justice" does not mean it isn't plain old racism, and the people pushing for it anything but bigoted, morons.
So really, while you're crying about perceived racism and "micro-aggressions" from white people I am being legally discriminated against in my business and frozen out of government contracts because I'm the wrong color/gender. I ONLY win them when I partner up with a minority or woman owned business. They won't even look at my RFP response unless I do, because I am the wrong color and the wrong gender.
I teach my little boy that you are going to have to be smarter, better, and tougher than everyone else, because you are going to be discriminated against because you are male and white. I don't "perceive" that. It's official policy, and is in plain writing. That's not a fucking micro-aggression, perception, or leftist bullshit. That's reality. That's official, codified policy...
So really, while I too find his focus on race unhelpful in explaining universal political truths about liberty and man's condition, we are going to get ever more tribalism and ever more racial unrest if legalized discrimination persists, and we do not listen to MLKs vision of a color blind society (which is now viewed as evil by the left). I don't agree, and know that oppressing my oppressor is a bad policy if I have to live with him, but I would not be so dismissive, because reality can be very different from bullshit perception.
I'm neither worried, nor am I claiming to be a victim. Life is not fair. I don't go into it expecting it to be "fair". I go in expecting it to be unfair, expecting to be discriminated against for whatever, expecting to be in the minority, or outnumbered and ganged up on, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to point out gross hypocrisy and vice masquerading as virtue when I see it. Fuck 'em.
The whole idea of "white guilt", "race memory" or other such bullshit sets us back, and prevents us from seeing and treating each other as individuals. When you buy into this shit and accept it you become part of the problem.
I get a truly color blind and egalitarian society is probably not achievable. We will always have prejudice and some level of bigotry, because it's hardwired as a survival mechanism. However, it is one thing to have it be a socially unacceptable failing at the fringe, and quite another to have it institutionalized and codified legally. The latter should be attacked and prosecuted wherever we find it and no matter whom it's target or preferred people are. Such a thing belongs is authoritarian and totalitarian societies, not in free ones. It should be offensive for what it is, not at whom it is directed.

I'm a cultural bigot.
Culture matters more than race.
I find I like cultural Americans, those dedicated to rule of law as defined by our Constitution and committed to the Republic and its idea of small government.
Race is just a veneer, culture is about what is inside you. .
Yes! Thank you. But it's hard to argue that this is not a thought provoking piece.
Sure I somewhat disagree with the racial overtones of the video but overall it's hard to disagree that there are facsimiles and analogous threads happening on our soil. We are not France however, the french have a long history of revolution, we boil like frogs with some issues.
I'M NOT A FAN OF THE RACE CARD: that is why the "culture" perspective resonates with me, and I am glad you brought that up. Lastly on that subject one can have a different culture and still abide by the rule of law. It's a mentality.
Immigrants or not, As China and India come more on line carbon emissions are going to rise regardless. But... the more people there are anywhere the more emissions are going to rise. The sea levels will rise, crops will fail, disease will spread, who will pay? Those living on costal areas and can't afford to move. It's not so much an immigrant problem it's a industrial and overall population problem. Resources divided per populous.
To me the problems in France speaks to more of their Socialist Democracy and the implicit dangers that exist. They have to raise taxes because they have to pay for everyone. When your tax dollar pays for some lazy motherfuckers as well as the pregnant single mother, that's socialism.
Carbon concerns are a globalist agenda to create a population brought down to the lowest common denominator and more easily controlled .
Certainly like anything in the media some of the effects are fabricated but please read further.
I have to say I disagree with some of your statements as I have some insiders perspective on this. My first job out of college was at NCAR in Boulder Colorado, (The National Center For Atmospheric Research,) Mind you this was in the early nineties and way before climate change was a political agenda at all. Bush senior was prez at the time. The climate models we were looking at were very accurate and excellent predictors of what's partially going on. I know most here are not going to jive with what I'm saying but I can tell you that this is very different than Godzilla and made up monsters or lame zombie shows.
It's too bad scientific results are now politically motivated as it acutely nullifies the science all together. There are fucking crackpots on both sides either totally denying atmospheric change or pushing armageddon. I'm glad I don't see eye to eye with either party. I am not predicting the end of the world but rather some pretty big changes.
I predict I will get flamed here for taking my particular stance but I know we had no political agenda when I was there. I certainly was not faking any of the algorithms or data that was being entered.

France has bigger balls than the US right now! Hahaha!
If we cared about climate change we would promote manufacturing in first world countries not export it to open air foundries in India or sweatshops in Vietnam.
Wonder how yesterdays terror attack will affect the Yellow Vests?
Govt will ask "in the name of patriotism" to stand down.
Hate to think it but the govt is probably happy to have the distraction.
Bingo! If we cared about clean air, clean oceans, and a clean environment, we'd ban all imports of goods from China, India and the rest of the Developing World.
Climate Change is a GLOBAL SCAM TO ENRICH THE GLOBALISTS.
The models are cute, predictive in the very short term, but complete garbage long term, ie greater than 3 years. It's easy to get a model adjusted so that it mirrors past performance and predicts immediate conditions. We do that with our ballistic software, which has 100x more basis in real science than the Climate models.
The underlying assumption that climate today is ideal and we'd be worse off if it changed is complete horse hockey. If the planet warmed up, there would be major benefits to the world, such as a wetter Sahara and more land in Russia and Canada that is available for raising crops.
Another point in this discussion is if the ice is melting why aren't our coastal cities under water per prediction?Climate change has been politicized since well before the 90s. In grade school, 70s, I was told an ice age was coming and I remember the image of NYC getting covered by a mile high glacier. Tied in with that acid rain was going to kill every tree in the NE/Canada.
Climate infiltration started in the 50s and its priests were fully vested in the 60s.
I agree we need to be vigilant about our environment but with my own eyes I see we are better now than at any other time in my life.
If we cared about climate change we would promote manufacturing in first world countries not export it to open air foundries in India or sweatshops in Vietnam.
There is a problem with pollution but the solutions proposed to promote globalism exacerbate the problem.
They have been caught how many times manipulating/ lying?Certainly like anything in the media some of the effects are fabricated but please read further.

I agree 100% we should be working to get off this planet instead of spending money paying rats to breed and fighting Stone Age people.Well, what did you find? Are winters getting worse/colder because of climate change? Some say they are, some say it’s a bunch of BS! The earth has always had periods of cooling and warming, it’s the nature of things. Not to mention, one day things are going to heat up anyways because the sun and it’s rays ar growing more rapid than the earth is moving out. One day the earth will be engulfed by the sun. How do we know the effects we see aren’t simply related to changes in the sun itself vs things on earth causing this phenomenon? Truth of the matter is probably somewhere in the middle. Imo, the earth can only support so many people despite what side of the aisle you fall on concerning global warming. In order to make any real change the entire globe would have to be on board. In fact, the US actually outputs very little pollution when compared to other countries in the world. Even if we curtailed everything we did it wouldn’t make up for what the rest of the world is doing. SO what’s the point? I mean at some time we are going to have to address things or figure out how to get off of this rock, global warming or not.
I certainly was not faking any of the algorithms or data that was being entered.
Bravo.Yea, let me be the first to say, "fuck you". I had a Wash U biologist/computer science researcher over to a BBQ last Summer, and he and his girlfriend stayed in the pool way past 2AM. I am a good host, and did not kick them out till they were ready to leave even though I'm a 9pm bedtime kind of guy. His thesis was that he can create algorithms eliminating the need for classical research and testing in cancer research. Basically he is taking the "climate science" model of algorithms replacing scientific method and trying to apply it to biology. This is something you probably think is terribly interesting. I think it is horrible and will do nothing prevent learning and breakthroughs, as it has in "climate science".
The things he said made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. This bullshit you write now IS "science". Replacing actual evidence gathering and scientific method with partial data (is there any other kind observing a system as massive as planetary climate?) shoved into an algorithm is actually, despite the brave new world you've convinced yourself of, NOTHING NEW. It is true that for the vast majority of people under 30 years old they have been taught that this can replace science, and most of those over 30 in the hard science fields are loath to go against the priests who say it is so, just like they were afraid to call eugenics bullshit.
The last time brilliant "scientists" decided that Greek Scientific Method was quaint we had case studies and the dropping of control groups accepted as "facts". We got science like Eugenics and Freudian psychology. What you participated in, and what my erstwhile, "scientist" friend participate in is NOT science. In order to call it "science" it must conform to scientific method, it must have actual data and qualitative and quantitative observation without being washed through an algorithm that produces a predetermined result. It must have a control group that accounts for the factors your hypothesis imagines are the prime vectors.
You can't just exclude the Sun, and pretend you have a "model" that explains anything, because we already know it doesn't algorithms aside.
In every way possible "environmental science" fails all the most basic tenants of science. It is complete bullshit at this point...even the parts of it that are not. No science should require belief. When it does you KNOW it is NOT science. When you have proof "scientists" manipulate the data on a widespread basis and this is accepted within the discipline to get the result they want there is no question it's not science.
Your predictions are as much bullshit as the ones made 20 years ago that we weren't going to last ten. You just keep making them expecting to be taken seriously. Nothing, NOTHING has changed since Mann and East Anglia. If anything this astrology bullshit has gotten worse and thicker as they try to cover up for their 100% track record of failed predictions and religious like belief.
Yea, I am not a PhD, but I am classically trained as a scientist, and scientific method is how I think. This is so far from that it's ridiculous, and it is the same sort of junk science (meaning NOT science) we see get repeated every generation. This is just it's new iteration, and it is ALWAYS, in every occurrence, used to further a totalitarian ideology. Freedom and liberty are absolutely essential to the rational dissemination of real science. You sometimes get results that don't confirm your biases, and have to change your beliefs based on them. Totalitarianism doesn't work that way. When you're a totalitarian you have a solution and then look to justify it, which is precisely what is at work here. No matter what the "problem" is, the solution is ALLWAYS, ALLWAYS more top down control.
So you can believe whatever you want to believe. Calling it "science" damages our entire species, just like eugenics did last time.
Figure the odds you change your mind in 20 years. Have you changed it in the last 20? How many predictions have to be proven wrong till you stop believing? My guess is that there is no number, because belief does not require evidence. A pretty chart or graph produced by the Priests of the Temple of Syrinx is enough to get your total devotion. As I said, I'm trained to think as a scientist, and maybe a basic one who hasn't forgotten or rejected 101 science, and scientific method. In my experience those who forget the fundamentals even when they call themselves an "expert", usually suck at whatever.
Acid test?? Is that when you drop lsd with a few total strangers of different colors and watch Fantasia together and Pink Floyd while watching the wizard of oz?An acid test I've found concerning your topic.
If you replace the word "white" with any of the commonly used "victim class" nouns is there any compunction to even bring up the fact.
The fact that we are even worried to bring up legitimate aggrievances suffered by the "white" minority on the face of this Earth
is testament to the media's bias and effectiveness in their programming.

All the people on this creation could stand comfortably in Rhode Island, no one would have to hug. You could drown everyone in Loch Ness... three times.
Overpopulation is a myth, a hell-spawned lie, by the Father of lies, to facilitate theft and murder, which are also his specialties.
When the lies lead to theft and murder, you can logically deduce they were in fact lies.
Yea, I couldn’t resist. Lol we need some humor thrown in with all these deadly serious topicslitmus, acid, rabbit.............they are all tests you know what was meant.
Farmers can barely keep up with demand as it is. That doesn’t include energy and water and so forth. Again, it’s not nearly as simple as your example.
Yep ^^^Actually that's what the anti progress Communists want you to think.
Just in the USA alone, a good amount of food production potential is purposely idled by the government & industry to maintain high prices.
That's before you start getting into things like putting corn in your gas tank where it ruins your gas mileage instead of putting it in hungry human bellies.
Water is not a problem, it's just a matter of not storing directing and refining it correctly and in the right places.
We've only just begun to start with some of the new high density farming ideas.
You could double the world's population and still feed them well, it's just a lack of the political, economic & social will to do so.
Just as you could easily fit twice as many people in most countries, just by building some new cities.
Africa could be feeding the whole planet by itself instead of being filled with images of starving people if they stopped constantly killing each other and started farming like we do here in the USA.
They always want to tell you that there is only so much pie and everybody can only have a tiny slice and we can't have more people over.
The true answer is, head into the kitchen, and bake as many pies as you want.
