Used properly, they keep the target from running off/away (that's what I read in outdoor life). </div></div>

Ill be putting 4 or 5 cans of dinty moore stew on stands at 1760yards so any body that ever wanted to pull off the Bob Lee Swaggert shot will Have the opertunity to do so or they can watch the rest of us do it. Ray Dawson.

Well you will need one of those 408 Chey-Tac rifles to do that and be sure to put the good firing pin back in your rifle ( take out the filed down one ).

But that would be a novelty shot though. Maybe a swinger target the size of a DMS can. That way you would not have to clean up the mess afterwards.

Dennis,

After Ray came to WV all the goats are scared, 2222yds was as close as I could get to those goats after he got done with them. We might have to get some goats and turn them loss over at Rays to make me feel at home.

I am sure we will have a good time as always. Hope to see ya at Rays and bring your buddys with ya. I like to shoot someone elses ammo!!!

hey guys were going to be giving a rifle away at the shoot its a fn action #10 mtu Krieger fluted barrel in a hs precision stock in 6.5 creedmoor we havent decided how were going to do it yet door prize or shoot for it but when we come up with it we will let you guys know will post some pics in a few days of the stick

Hope you are doing some good down there. Hate you can't go to Alabama with us this weekend. Going to miss you man at the match. I will try to keep Jon inline since you aren't with us. Hope to have a new DT 308 SRS to show you when you get back in country. I will let you shoot it at Rays if you bring your own ammo unlike most of the time you shoot mine.

if u put the goats feet in your boots and lace them up then try push the goat off a ledge he (or she) will push backward that is what clark told me and shooting a goat at that distance shows a determination to kill a goat that goat must of knew something that clark did not want to get out. if you know what i mean. i'm afraid that goat died because it was going to tell on clark for past transgressions.

Hey guys. I've got the rifle pics posted on the photography section. I got my thumb in this table saw and as soon as it's better, or i can talk steve into it. I will get this rifle ready for this match. we've decided it wouldn't be fair for average shooters to try to compete for this rifle at 1760yds or on the thousand yard side of the hill. so, we are going to give it away as a door prize. we will have ammunition for everybody to try it out on the thousand yard side, and I will be giving instruction on long range shooting to anybody who wants to show up and get their feet wet in this type of scenerio. this shoot is open to anybody, anyone who would like to come. if you are interested in paying for a ticket for the rifle, please pm me so i will have a better idea of what to charge for tickets we will have a 4'x8' plate up at 2444. ps i think mark is gay for pay

Hey Guys, Im kinda new here been lurking for a while, but Im far too inexperienced to be contributing any advice. I grew up in a little house that some of you could probably hit from Ray's place, on the neighboring dairy farm, this was back before this was Ray's place (I think). I am good friends with LiLMann as well, anyways I am looking forward to coming out and learning a thing or two. I still live pretty close and am currently unemployed so if you need a fairly young back to shovel some gravel when you spread them, assuming I am still unemployed, just shoot me a PM or have LiLMann call me and I will be glad to ride over and give a hand. I also used to work for and am still good friends with the pastor of the church right next to the entrance to the property , if you would like I will talk to him and ask about people parking in the church parking lot, if you have not already made other arrangements, and think that you will need the extra space (I can't imagine him having any problem with it whatsoever). Just again shoot me a PM, have LiLMann call me, or better yet email me at Rod_32002 AT yahoo DOT com and I will be glad to help out any way I can.

i would just like to say congrats to clark on winning the PMC,and a special thanks to Jon Lester for letting me borrow a rifle to limp trough to the finish of the PMC after mine took a dump on the 4th stage of day one. Thanks Ray.

Looks like this is about 5 1/2 hours away, if I can make it up for the shoot I'll be there.

I must of had my lucky goats foot in my pocket. I won the 2010 308 only Practical Marksman Challange, Desert Tactical Arms 308 SRS and a Nightforce 3.5-15x56 all at the same time. It don't get no better than that. I only wish Rays Savage wouldn't have crapped on him, he might have gave me a run for 1st place. Thats all that saved me benchduck. You will have to go with us the next time.

I should have the new DTA 308 SRS at the funshoot for everyone to tryout. Bring your own ammo since I have shoot up all of my CORBON stuff that Pete sponsored me with.

Thanks to all the sponsors of the 2010 PMC and everyone who helped with a great match. Thanks to all my sponsors for all there help and to DTA & Nightforce.

Hope some of them can helpout on Rays match when he has one.

Alright 3-27-10 thats the date.Rules will be same as last time. We had a really good group last time and everybody needs to be safe. No hot firearms . they will be made hot on firing line only pointed down range. No gangbangers or wanna bees.if you bring your wife,girlfriend, or kids you will be responsible for them. Unsafe acts will not be tollerated and you be escorted off property.this is a fun shoot only, alot of you dont have a place to shoot especially the long stuff, so my wife and myself are giving the opertunity for you to do so, so please dont screw it up.We will be grilling out like last time on the wood fired grill, so everybody can stay and shoot and mingle. this is certainly not a requirment but as last time there will be a box for donations if you fill it in you to do so. just keep in mind that the steel targets you will be shooting up didnt just grow on trees.Ive made several new reactive targets. all pistol and rimfire only targets will be painted hot pink.Do Not shoot thease with a centerfire rifle. if you cant shoot the rifle targets provided from 100 yards out then dont show up, this is not the place for you. there is a wealth of knowledge availble here for the novice and the expert alike and this is a good chance for everyone to network in person. Benchduck will be offering chances on a rifle he has so graciously put up for raffle.you can buy as many chances as you like but please keep in mind the donations or the rifle raffel is up to you it is not required. this is a fun shoot only nothing comercial about it just a friendly get together of like minded folk.If you have any questions post or pm them. 8558 Old Mill RD.there are no portajohns, things will be primative. road in may be a little rough if you have 4 whell drive use it, Dont spin up my road coming up the hill. everyone is here at thier own risk, so please be careful. there will be a sign at bottom of hill with mine and clarks cell #s call and we will send a shuttle down to pick you up if you need a ride up on hill.
