In 1978 the local McDonald's had "Candle Light Night" on Thursdays. Take a date, lights were off and candles on every table. Good times.
Haven't thought about that in years. However, I do think about Polly a bit more often.

I’ve never been elk hunting, but it sounds like that must’ve been a tough hunt
We hunt elk every year but some tags are much harder than others, she earned that bull 100% in one of the most difficult units in the West.
I have lived in Oregon, most of my life, but I’ve never visited that Hells canyon area
You should get in there one day, beautiful brutal country.
We should probably take this to p.m., but yes, I’m retired now and that part of the Pacific Northwest is definitely on the bucket list

Trying to keep the heritage going. He’s not wild about deer hunting, but enjoys hunting upland birds. Might be a combination of the AHDD and the fact that Grandpa is mostly an invalid which has limited our opportunities. 
That's Tom Hoover from the "Ramchargers". He had a hand in creating the 413 and 426 wedge engines.

I’m about 20 min from actual Mayberry…..and almost a mile off the road….and I lock my door…. at night anyway
For your Cliff moment there was an ignition source for "real" guns that this is based upon. It was very short lived.
