From observation, 2,000 lbs + can accelerate from 0 to 30 mph long before you can even get out an 'Oh Shit', let alone an 'Oh shit I'm f'd'. They are cute from a ' y'all ain't from around here' perspective, but they are definitely not amused with your skinny jeans. Oh by the way, these guys (and gals) are rather tame compared to the moose. Again, from experience DO NOT get between a cow and her calf.
They say that you can't fix stupid. Why would you discourage an activity that's very entertaining and trying to do what can't be done?

And a reminder to visitors that bears HATE bacon grease, so apply it liberally to your clothes, hat, packs, etc.

This bear is definitely not as fat as that one but he has had a balanced diet of dog food and doughnuts. Some lady was feeding him. Fish and wildlife had to trap him and take him up in the Olympic mountains.

Everything's safe (for now). That's on a lot down the street.
Rolled though here too. Had some pea size hail with the rain and wind; power went out for a few minutes, then flashed for a bit. The flag pole mount for my wife's Korean flag snapped off, that's the extent of damage here. What part of MD are you in? We're in Harford County.OH SNAP!

Agreed. The chickens are my wife's. She would have been destroyed to have all her birds crushed like that. She's raised them from hatchlings and is really attached to them.
