Little known fact. All Yugos came with heated rear windshields so your hands stayed warm while you pushed them.

I think I was TAD to NAS Millington in 86. There was a Cadillac dealership offering Buy One Get One. The pitch was something about you having a new highschool graduate that was going off to college and getting a free Yugo if you bought a new Cadillac.
The first one I saw was in 8th grade jr high. I said look at this, you piss in it and it pisses back!
No matter what else he did for a living, my Brother In Law always cut wood for his habits (Elk Camp in Oregon, Fishing on the coast). This isn't even his truck, but he said, he wasn't going home with less than a full load. He has a 3/4 diesel Ram, that he stacks even higher. With better side racks.

My step-grandfather had a 69 Beetle. Modified it a bit. Had to put on a cooling system when we moved to Texas in 1974. Changed out some parts and put a stinger up and out the back. Loud!
We would go to the library and he would show me how to do what he called speed-shift, which was shifting without a clutch.
One of my high school mates in 1982 had bought his mother's '76 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. That car had some power when he was done tuning it up, just a little.
