So this Air Force General, this Army General and this Marine General are arguing about whose troops are the bravest.

To prove his point, the Air Force General calls over an Airman who is walking by and says "Airman... I want you to go up to the top of that control tower and jump off it."

The Airman salutes, double times to the top of the control tower and jumps off... dying a horrible death.

"See," says the Air Force General. "That's Bravery."

The Army General, not to be outdone... calls over a passing GI and says "Specialist, you see that parachute jump training tower? I want you to go to the top of it and jump off."

The specialist salutes, double times to the top of the jump tower and jumps off... dying a horrible death.

"See," says the Army General. "That's real bravery."

The Marine general, after watching this... calls over a Marine who is walking by and says "Lance Corporal... you see that radio aerial over there? The 300-foot tall one? I want you to climb to the top of it and jump off."

The Lance Corporal looks at the General, salutes and says: "Well now, you can just go fuck yourself, sir."

"And that, Gentleman," says the Marine General... "Is real bravery."

Kinda wondered if I busted something.

Swollen and everything hurt for about 6 weeks. Never did get any pictures.
Ortho friend said bursitis.

First week of Oct I was racing my kid. Tripped and smashed knee into metal handrail support.
12 days later go to the dr and have a defect and a chip floating around. Nothing to do unless it causes problems.
Oh well….

66 now with 20 years of roadracing under my belt. Stopped that and did some track days to keep sharp but after waking up in the back of the ambulance I decided my bones can't take any more 135mph hits.... Still have my street super bike though.

Fell off in turn 3 @ Bridgehampton.
Broke collar bone.
Had to drive from the far end of Long Island back to home (Albany) afterwards.
That was my last race!

This is something new to me but I admit I am not an operator. I do run carbine drills on my little steel range with my SW15-22 to keep somewhat sharp in this age of being loathe to use real ammo.

Very interesting. The “low press” is especially so.

I plan to begin seeing if the “press” will work for me. It seems it would be faster on target than low ready or 1/2 low ready. Pressing out makes more sense than raising the rifle.

My nephew Matt, 30 years old, did a good job stopping in the dark. He’s 6’5” so his legs hit the ground pretty early.

I love racing!!! Being in the car during a race is the purest moment in life you can have. Nothing else matters during a race, you are in that moment.
