GA Precision DPMS upper and lower with an Obermeyer 20 inch bbl.

The only changes I have made to it - the accushot monopod and the trigger is now a Geiselle.

Me and the rifle shooting 500 yards (for the first time in my life) a few weeks ago.

Can these shoot?...

after getting sighted/zeroed on a torso sized piece of steel at 500, then shooting an 8 inch pie plate of steel consistently, I switched to paper.

This is my first (and only) shot on paper at 500 yards.

When the spotter said "bulls" I quit so I could have the target, and not dirty it up..

I had no idea the ARs could shoot accurate at 500yards. I think my gun wish list just grew ! Why can't I have thousands of dollars just lying around.

ARs can shoot damn well. The 26" .223 versions run out to 600 yards with great accuracy in NRA competition.

Rat-30, just placed my order last week. Pretty much the same order but I went with the 22-inch barrel. One question for you though, were did you find the magazines for sale? I have been looking, but it seems like everyone is out.

Got my ST-10 USO Scope in last week though, so the only thing I need is that GAP AR10 to make it complete.

I received a 4-month estimate when my order was placed in early October. Almost 4 months to the day, which is (1.) Spot on, and (2.) very good considering WHEN I ordered and the 'disturbance in the force' since...

Thanks Lightfoot. Just curious, do you need that Larue mount, or could you get away with just rings ?

I have a similar build with the S&B glass to top it off. Just not sure of mounts yet or ring height

That mount has a 10MOA built in which is the reason I went with it. You can however use the rings on it. I have the original Badger Rings that were sent with it if you are interested. They are new.
