So I just got my Gradous rifle and I'm loading up some 338 norma rounds .. 82 grains of retumbo as suggested by robert. Before I give a review I'd like to shoot it and see how it shoots. So what's the best method for getting on target? Boresight it ? How about adjusting parallax ?

Here's a nice teaser pic of the rifle :)

Thanks !

Very nice, pity the bolt handle is on the wrong way ;)

I like to bore sight at 25-50 yards first. The best way i've found is use something bright, like a new tennis ball thats easy to see through the bore, ymmv of course. :)

Let us know how she shoots.

Same here. Bore sighted my 338 at 25 yds, then stretched out to 100 yds and easily on paper. As for the parallex, focus on horizontal lines in target or upper or lower target edge, then bob your head up and down slightly. Cross hairs should not more up and down when parallex is focused correctly.

Set up at 100 yards. Pull the bolt and look down the bore. Put the target in the center of the bore and adjust your scope so that the reticle is in the center of your target. Boresighting done.
