Decided it would be good for anyone who's interested in what they are or how they work to actually see them in action and learn how easy a caliber change is.
I won't quit my day job but I do hope it helps to answer some questions for people.

Re: Made a Giraud case trimmer video

Glad it helped give you an idea of how it works !
Every time I use it I'm still amazed at what a great piece of equipment it is.

Re: Made a Giraud case trimmer video

Didn't sound like the cases were even being touched by the blade... or maybe the trimmer noise is louder.

I have one as well and it sounds louder on video than it really is.

Re: Made a Giraud case trimmer video

Nice video, but you might want to correct your pronunciation of Giraud. It's pronounced with a soft g and is a French last name. The pronuciation of the G is like Jacques and is pronounced like "jiro" or "giro"

My wife said the same thing after she watched it lol.
I actually tried calling Giraud before I made the video to make sure I didn't bastardize his name but got the answering machine. Oh well next time.

The room I filmed it in has a concrete floor and it does make the trimmer sound much louder than it is in person so don't let that sway anyone's thoughts on it.
Towards the end you can hear the clock ticking to give you an idea of how much sound travels in there.
