First, I checked with Lowlight and he said it was OK to post this. So, here goes - It's that time of year again. This is the third year I have done this on the 'Hide. Daughter is selling girl scout cookies and once again, am taking donations to ship cookies to an army unit and a marine unit. (Last year y'all paid to have 52 boxes sent!) Here's the deal - If you want to donate to send cookies, I've set up a paypal account for it:

cookiesformilitaryATcomcast.net (replace AT with @)

If you want cookies for yourself, they are $3.50 a box and you pay actual shipping. If you buy a dozen boxes, I'll pay the freight.

Lastly, if you want to ship some to a buddy in the 'box, rather than both of us paying for shipping, I'll send them to any APO, FPO address and pay the freight if it's 6 boxes or more.

Cookies being sold are:

Lemon Chalet Cremes, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Dulce de Leche, Thank You Berry Munch, Tagalongs, and Thin Mints. Here's a link with the descriptions => Cookie Descriptions

I told my daughter if she sells 200 boxes or more, she'll get that .22 rifle she wants for her birthday...(I've already bought it but she doesn't know) so I do have a vested interest in this.

So, here's your chance to help some chow hounds or yourself to enjoying these cookies....let me know if you have any questions.

PM's sent. Thanks guys. That's 22 boxes. As I said, if you have someone you want to send them to, just pay for the cookies and I'll mail to any APO or FPO address.

Oh, that is funny...

I just bought some from a friend's daughter, but we will definitely donate to send some to the troops. PM coming your way.

Re: Girl Scout Cookies for the guys in the 'box

EDIT: I'll just use paypal. Incoming for a dozen boxes.

I don't have anyone over there now, so general distribution is cool with me, I don't really care what types either since I"m not eating them...

Will you do domestic shipments as well? I could use some for myself but nobody around here is selling them. I'd take another 6 to make it worth your hassle. All thin mints.

Re: Girl Scout Cookies for the guys in the 'box

I'll ship to anyone here, but if it's not APO or FPO, it'll cost you actual cost...BUT...if you send six boxes or more to the troops and also buy cookies for yourself, I'll pay shipping for up to 6 boxes....after that, you'll pay the actual difference. Yep, we're right at 70 boxes! Daughter has sold 104 on her own so far, so we're doing great! Y'all are really going to make the troops full of cookies too! Thanks again.

I will have to check. My 2 have told me $4/box so will have to check with their mom to make sure they aren't scammin me.

Re: Girl Scout Cookies for the guys in the 'box

OK, I got 8 cases of 12 or 96 boxes headed to 'box when they come in March. However, there is still time for me to order more, it's just that they will be sent around the middle to end of March (first orders come in around Mar 7th). Thanks to everyone that has participated and if anyone else wants to it's not too late...but after February 16th it will be.

Oh, daughter went over 200 boxes, so I guess I'll just HAVE to get her the .22 rifle she wanted (I know, I know, I already got it, but she doesn't know yet).

Good going guys - again, Our US Troops, and our Girl Scout Troop thank you!
