OK, so South Dakota recently passed the ruling about NFA weapons built/kept within the sate. No NFA tax for Silencers, SBR's SBS's and AOW's. (obviously there is more to it than just this, but you get the idea)
Point is...I've considered picking up a Glock Stock and essentially turning my G34 into a part time SBR, but according the the ruling, I would need to mark my SBR as "made in South Daktoa" (id be sure to find exactly what was needed if i go through with it)
The question I'm pondering would be...does the NFA marking go on the stock? I'd see no reason to mark the slide or lower if it's still just a handgun until the stock was added.
Thoughts?
