and my .556 THOR Ti wow much lighter then I expected and the .510 is very compact and light. I cant wait to get to shoot my whispers and Beowulf with it. I guess with that big hole and the Ti it just weighs way less then I figured. I will get to shoot it at my SOT's pretty soon I think but would guess I wont have it to myself until February. PGG

I cant post pics as I didnt take any. I have sent the papers off to the ATF so in a few hundred days I can post pics. Dang. I think I will shoot at his place before then I will post some image. They look like RollingThunders image above but the .510 is fatter for obvious reasons. Mainly I was shocked about how much less they weigh then I expected esp the .510 can. PG

LL you still thinking about doing a suppressor comparison with your new AWC cans? We pm'd about it months ago, but I would def like to see how these guys fair against Shark and Thunderbeast.

Wednesday
I should be doing a basic comparison with the SOT to start, once it's papered to me i can do more, but the dealer wants to shoot it too, so we are heading out Wednesday together with a bunch of my cans.

I would have to get with the TBAC guys as they have the real sound pressure meter, I just have a cheap sound meter that doesn't do very well with suppressors. Down the round we can compare numbers.

Outstanding LL! I still remember that video you did awhile back with the other suppressors. If you got the time; I would appreciate another one like that. Been tossing around the idea of getting a suppressor soon and the Thunderbeast and the AWC are my top two choices. Figured I finally landed in Virginia after several years overseas... I can stay here my entire career if I need to so getting one while in the service shouldn't be a problem as I won't be moving around.

I can't wait for the results. I'm all but sold (I haven't ordered it yet) on a TBAC 30p-1. I always like seeing head to head comparisons.

That looks great RollingThunder51.

Got to ask... although I am not sure how you will answer... I know that decibel reading isn't everything since the way the can actually alters the sound is what matters "pitch & tone, etc." But how many decibels can the suppressor take off (.30 Cal)? Also, as accuracy is actually my primary concern after reading the blurb on the link you just posted is there a noticeable shift after putting the suppressor on? Still tossing around the idea of getting one of these, but I am always learning and always open for ideas so I keep looking.

Defiantly looking forward to LL's comparison between his different cans.

Re: Got to look at my new AWC THOR Ti .510Whisper

I got to shoot my .510 Whisper today at my SOT's place and site in the rifle that AKASpook built for me. Worked our really well of course with AWC it was ear safe and the surprise without the CAN it was still not bad to shoot. I guess the felt recoil is not much different because of the low amount of gas in a cartridge like this. The weight of the projectile must cause all the recoil as I didnt notice much if any difference. I shot a video of my friend shooting it with the can and he shot me latter without the CAN. Cant wait to own it to play full time with it and shoot a Hog. PGG
