I am the VERY happy owner of a new 7STW. Specs are as follows:
Surgeon 1086 action
McMillian Rem Hunter stock 50%black, 25%OD, 25%Lt. Tan
Krieger 5.5 taper fluted 9.5 twist 28" long
Jewell trigger
Nightforce 5-25 ATACR scope MOAR reticle

Initial load development with 140 Accubonds yielded 1/2" groups at 100 yards. 80 grains of IMR7828 resulted in a velocity of 3477, SD5, ES12.

Can't thank Robert Gradous enough for both his beautiful work and his patience in working with a rookie like me to select the parts for this rifle.

I had a 7STW when it first came out and you had to neck down 8MM rem mag brass. It had a 27 inch krieger and with 82.5 gr of H1000 behind a nosler 140 BST, speed was 3600 FPS with a SD of 5 FPS, damn thing shot in the .200 at 180 yds.
burned the barrel up right around 800 rds.
enjoy this speed demon, it is awesome.

Very nice!!!

Robert is the "Cat-Daddy" - rumor has it that he has a super secret reamer for the 7STW.....................................they've been known to shoot 1 hole!!

This was the first bullet and power that I tried; getting ready for a hunt in Wyoming in a couple weeks. Really want to try H1000, but can't find any anywhere. I'm sure that I'll be able to get them in one hole with a little work. I was lucky enough to order a few surgeon actions before all the nonsense. Robert will be working his magic with a couple more soon.
