I'm from Central Texas around Killeen and Fort Hood. Retired US ARMY Engineer 1SG. One of the last basic training units to use the M14 in Ft Leonard Wood Mo. I'm the owner of several M1A's and have just started reloading again because if the cost and availability of good ammo. The only black gun I own is a 6.5 Creedmoor that I built. I'm going to hang out and follow the reloading threads mostly. Our local range has steel at 2, 4 and 600 yards, nothing available further out unless your willing to travel to West Texas.
I am also a knifemaker and member of the Texas Knifemakers' Guild.
