Hey guys, Just wanted to put a word out that Great customer service does still exist.
I have an older grizzly G9729, I love it it works great for me for now and I run the crap out of it. The machine has been great to me and I'm lost without it. I spend many-a-hour in the garage making chips. Right in the middle of a project the lathe motor stop working properly. I was pushing it and thought I just burned up a $250.00 plus motor. (Turned out it was the start and run capacitors went out ...at the same time. Both hard to find as single units on the interweb.) I contacted Grizzly C.S. with a question about one of the "bazillion" motors they list on there site. They apparently forwarded my email to Techsupport and a gentleman named Vince C. promptly emailed me back with all the pertinent information on the "correct" motor and then on the capacitors with a link to purchase them. The link was to a page with a complete brake down of the machine that was very thorough and complete with the ability to order the parts right there. Also offered his help in ordering them with a phone number and all. Very professional, proficient and helpful. I ordered the parts and three days later I had one of the capacitors at my door step. The other is back ordered but they assure me it will be shipped as soon as they receive it in May. I believe him with the speed of his replies and the quality of his information. All in all a great experience with Grizzly.
Great little machine, great People and great service. Can't go wrong with a Grizzly!
