the J-frame gets carried with me more or less everywhere......with one of the others on usually the belt.

the SW69 is quite frankly one of the best 44 magnums on the market.

the SW64 is my "peacocking" gun......planning on having it engraved, and getting a nice set of grips made from some sort of animal remnants....

the Ruger LCR is possibly one of the best carry revolvers on the market......very light and disappears on your belt, and the factory trigger is amazing for the price.

Hey Mac, great selection of wheel guns! Does Ruger have the LCR in 9mm? All my handguns are either 45 or 9mm and one leftove 38 super from the IPSC days. I'd be interested in a carry revolver in 9mm.

the grip angle on the LCR is very steep......if you like 1911s it feels very similar.

Figured since we gotta Bolt rifle and Semi auto picture thread in their respective sections, we ought to have a handgun pic thread to go along with em so..

Carry guns, race guns, hunting guns, old school collectible pieces, etc.. whatever ya got/wanna show off - lets see it! Maybe(hopefully?) if we get enough posts, we can turn this into a sticky..

Nice !(y) How do you like the flat faced trigger?
Mike

I like it better, I find that I get a more consistent press even if my finger isn't perfectly consistent. It's more forgiving. There are arguments both ways though and no clear consensus.

My AR has a flat trigger too but my Glocks and shotguns still have conventional faces, as does my long range rifle. It's not slowing me down.

I have two flat triggers- Hiperfire 24c - on my 9mm carbines. I'm in the same boat as you, really like them. All my other weapons have conventional curved triggers, and I don't see much difference going from one to the other. Might have to try a flat faced on a pistol, as I agree with you. I believe the flat faced are a little more forgiving.

Thanks. Wanted to try to make an executive pistol and case, once finished did not want to sell so have it to grandfather. Holster and money clip are elephant , case was ostrich. Made the take down tool handles from mother of pearl. Grips from African burl. And had a local company make a pen from the same group wood. Im a terrible case maker lol. It was a watch case that i modified.

WTF! Looks like some kind of medieval weapon! Gotta be a story behind it. Care to share it?

Not mine, got the pic off an internet search for zip gun. Just thought I'd throw it out there as a joke. Interestingly enough, the only thing illegal about it (your state/local laws may vary) are the brass knuckles.

Defense Glock 19s nearly matching, one in the electronic box, other close at hand. I'm not going to waste (and lose) a 2011 on a criminal.

Trijicon night sights, DIY stipling, Magpul magwell, one has an Apex trigger set that isn't worth the money. I have a couple Kydex holsters that I keep them in. I downgraded from having fancier Glocks, they aren't bullseye or competition guns so why put so much money into them?

My two pistols. Bought a whole lotta different guns before ending up with these two. I know they are old and outdated and definitely not ergonomic but I can shoot pretty damn well with 'em and that's what matters to me. Got a 30rd fun stick for it too and man that thing puts a smile on my face. As for as improvements, I've just put night sights on 'em (need to install on the USP) and they are GTG.

Heres my g22 carry gun. Converted to 357 sig with a love wolf barrel, zev tech mag extension and magwell, tlr1hl. I carry it in a las concealment ronin 2.0l holds 19+1 with the extensions. Hopefully soon I can send it off for slide work and I'll do some frame work on it.

I picked this up the other day. I wanted a relatively inexpensive 1911. I own a couple Springfield XDm pistols and have been very happy so I thought I would give a Springfield 1911 a go. This is the Range Officer Elite model. I added a TLR-7 light.

Such pretty guns in this thread.

I only shoot two pistols these days -- the Ruger Standard ("MK I") that my dad gave me on my 13th birthday, and an FN FiveSeven with a bunch of crap bolted onto it. I really like them both and the Ruger has sentimental value to me, but neither one is special in any objective way. Someday I'd like to have something fancy like the showpiece 1911s you guys are posting.

It's funny, the FiveSeven -- even with the light/laser and RMR -- weighs the same fully loaded as the Ruger weighs empty.

EDIT: Just weighed them both. Loaded FiveSeven is actually a few grams lighter than the empty Ruger.
