Hansohn Brothers Bravo End Cap - Doesn't Thread onto Omega 300

Just picked up my Sico Omega 300 today after a 10-month jail sentence.

I bought my HB Titanium end cap months ago (October) in anticipation I might have received my can before hunting season. Anyway I removed the anchor brake immediately and tried to thread on the HB end cap - no good. Threads lock up after just a few rotations, cannot be tightened further by hand, and I'm hesitant to put a wrench to it and damage the threads on the can. Seems like the threads on the HB end cap are different spec.

Anyone had any issues with the thread-on?

Mine went on without any problems, I would contact Hanson and see what they have to say
