just pick up and installed my new HDMR with the tremor 2. i understand the basics of the mil dot and the wind dots in it but if anyone has some first hand knowledge and experiences with it i would love to hear your thought and more on how to use it to its fullest. also i am creating my ballistic charts and know the format i want to use but not sure if i should make them from 0-100 degrees with changing elevation and humidity thought on that would be good to. thanks for the help in advance and also it is on a 700 in .308 in a bell and Carlson stock and i shoot 168 gr Sierra match king BTHP with 44 gr of 4064 with a CCI large rifle primer. at 2750 FPS

I have one and I am not sure I am using it to its fullest. It is a very busy reticle and is easy to get lost in it.

I guess there are really three things I see can be done with the reticle (in addition to mildot ranging):

1. Engagement of known distance targets with the reticle based on holdovers.
2. Windage hold off based on known wind speed and reticle
3. Rapid target engagement with the reticle.

I have used this for target engagements using the reticle holdover out to 800 yds, and it it allows me to get reliable hits. I especially like the fine reticle and clear glass, in that I can estimate range easier than ever before.

I am not so certain of #3. Havent done it, because it seems it was based on a 308 with a certain bullet weight. I'm not sure my 260 has close enough ballistics and I havent tried to figure it out yet. The other two work and are easy enough to figure out. Bushnell has a pdf somewhere on their website explaining in depth the reticle and how to use it.

I think if I was doing it over again I would just get the G2 reticle.

Dope sheet- I just make one for mid range temp and hold a little over or a little under. At the distances I shoot it doesnt cause any real problems for me.

thanks for your info i have the PDF and also if you call horus they have a long power point they will send you. in reading all i info i can get on it i know the dots and 4MPH at the first and 8 and so on for 308 and pretty sure it is 3 then 6 for 338 not sure on 260 but i would call then and find out there customer service is pretty good at horus. and the speed shooting formula is make for 308 out to 600M trying to figure out how to use it though.
as far as my dope sheet that is pretty much what i am doing making sheets for 60 degrees and 60 humidity but i am doing them for different altitudes and am going to make a few for shooting on my side 90 degrees out.
again thanks for the help and i hope one day one of us figures it out
