A buddy from work and I are going to Houston tomorrow afternoon through next Fri. for a class/test for work.

Is there a decent bar near the Houston Marriott Energy Corridor 16011 Katy Freeway? This isn't a party trip (classes 8-6 M-Th w/tests Fri 8-3) but I can't sit in a hotel room and study <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">all</span></span> night...

Also, any suggestions on where to get a bite to eat?

I'd love to but really don't see a way to work it in. I get in at 5:42 Sat afternoon. Class runs 1-6:30 Sun, then 8-6:00/6:30 Mon-Thurs. with written and hands on tests Fri from 8-3:00. Not the normal "conference trip" where I've got a lot of free time.

well the range is just down the road from where you're @, I need to go sight in my aimpoint if you want to go. I will probably go Tuesday or Wednesday

Due to the schedule I wasn't planning on it. I know that the guy going with me would love to go to a range, do they have any rental guns?

these are the only rifles I have with scopes @ the moment, buy some ammo and I'll take them(will have to sight them in too)
