Picked up some 3/8'' AR500 steel today. Got it for 20 bucks in a 32''x12'' sheet, took it to the garage, sanded it down, and layed the first layer of paint on it. Had a little surface rust but nothing to damage it.

Then I got stuck thinking of a way to hang it. I want to hang it by chains and would like to see some of your designs.

Thanks for any help!

I am also interested in hearing a way to hang it. Only thing I could think of would be to use a torch and cut a hole on each corner.. Or get some heavy duty washers and weld them to each corner to hang the chain from.. I was trying to stay away from welding the chain to the steel.. Not sure what's the best way though

I have built several, drill holes in corner and use bolts with flat washers, lock nuts on both sides, make sure bolt head is on shooting side so you dont buger the threads if you hit the bolt. I hang them from a stand that is basically a sawhorse made from angle iron. Its pretty straightforward.
