I wont have a chance to look through one due to my location, but narrowed it down to a few choices all in the same price range...

Bushnell 4200 6-24X50 (30mm tube)
Sightron Big Sky SII 6.5-20X50 (1"tube)
Vortex Viper 6.5-20X50 (30 MM tube)

It will be going on my SPS TAC with HS Pres stock on Nightforce 20MOA base and TPS rings.

Any input from owners of these scopes, or comparisions would be helpful.

Thanks

They make decent scopes and the ones with the big turrets like the old B&L are functional.

Re: Help me pick my scope

Sightron or the Vortex. The Bushnell is a good scope but it only have 50 MOA of elevation adjustment which limits its us some. With a .308 reaching 1000 yards with a 100 yard zero could be iffy.

Re: Help me pick my scope

I have a friend that has a Millett LRS-1, 6-25x56 with a 35mm tube. Its on sale now for 419.00 with rings. IMO, the scope was very clear and tracked very well from 100 to 500 yards throughout the day. It has a mil dot reticle with half mil hash lines which I thought was very nice.

+1, I have one on my .223 Varmint rifle and it works well.
