Sidearms & Scatterguns Help With A Knife ID

I inherited the knife below from my dad. Markings are faint, but I can read two playing cards (showing blackjack), Classic Blades Trail Guide, Effingham, IL and tool steel. The handle is stacked leather. Brass hilt. Steel cap.

I’m trying to get an idea of when it was made. My Google Fu hasn’t turned much more than what you can learn from looking at it.

Made by a company called Blackjack knives some time after 1991. Counterfeit versions may have been made so authentication probably needs more than a quick Google search.

It looks nice but I'm not sure how collectible it might be.
