Newbie- so be gentle. I need help figuring out what MOA to get for my new Toy’s. I’ll try to be specific.
Gun- MPA BA PRM pro 6.5 creed
Optic- Razor Hd Genii 4.5-27
Mount- MPA 34mm x 1.125

goals- plinking steel, maybe a match here or there... ( but do have a goal to hit a mile).

have a lot to learn, so appreciate any explanations and guidance at the 1st grade level😀

Run the data for your load and see what it would take to hit a mile. Then get a 20, 30 or 40 MOA base to get you there. The Razor II can run a 40 MOA without issue.

I’d say setup your rifle for 90% of your shooting, not the 10% or less. The center of the optic is where you want to spend most of your time.

For every 100 noobs that come here saying they want to shoot a mile, one will actually do it.

While that’s probably true the Razor II can be run on a 40 Moa with no issue with the clarity or any other issue with the optic. Just wanted him to know that if he did want to set it up for a mile from the start.

Does the MPA mount have any cant built in? I'd drop a 20MOA rail on the rifle. Even if you have a 20MOA mount I believe the razor has enough adjustment to achieve 100y zero if you have a combined 40moa from mount and rail.
