How often to dis-assemble the actual bolt to clean

Just wondering how often your cleaning frequency is for the internals of a bolt, on a bolt actuated rifle?

You know, the firing pin, the channel it resides in, etc.

I wouldn't worry about unless, you were dragging your rifle through mud, sand, etc. If you have the Mod. 70 which is easy to field strip the bolt a very light coat of grease is all that you would need or some oil. I have never cleaned the internals of a bolt on my Rem., shoot on.

On my last Remengton 700pss I never cleaned it (only because I didnt know how to dissasemble the bolt, and places like this where not around) so I dont think its gonna hurt anything. I only had 1225 rounds through my first pss but it would hold honest .54"-.37" 5 shot groups consistently.
