Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly are important rights, so it would be very difficult to design effective rules of engagement that would limit the bloodshed to just the bad guys.

Also, using live ammo on people, regardless of caliber or competency of the shooter, can/will lead to people getting killed. You can use all the tough internet language you want, but that's unacceptable.

You misread the meaning of the statement.
Which side is considered the enemy by our own government is what hinges on the election.
If Trump wins, Antifa is the enemy.
If Biden wins, we are the enemy, and Antifa is promoted to be the new Federal Agency in charge of Homeland Security and Statues.

The biggest pro for the Israelis and something to think about....
It denies the "Palestinians" their "martyrs" which are the best propaganda and recruiting tools ever.
It also avoids a lot of condemnation from the stupid Europeans.

It is also not a new tactic either, in the rise of the National Socialists, at the start they were rather careful that their goon squads beat the living daylights of of folks but didn't kill them... that way the authorities were more likely to not follow up as hard as they would if someone was killed.... but the guys on the beating end and others didn't want to stand up to them again, especially if they were not going to get help from the police.....
