My friend and I were talking about a potential build this weekend. It would be a 7WSM in a long action that would be able to shoot the 180gr Bergers fed from a magazine. The action would be a Remington 700 or Savage 110. The bottom metal would most likely be CDI.
Would that be possible? Would I run into issues with barrel shanks?
