Howa 1500 with vortex purchase.... how did I do?

I was in the market for a budget 308 rifle setup and won this auction.
I'm more of AR guy but slowly transition into precision rifle shooting.
Anyway, never had Howa rifle or knoxx axiom stock and wondering whether I did good or got screwed.
The seller said he only shot 200rds or less.
I won the GB auction @ $715 and seller offered free shipping since I purchased his other item.

If you like it, it fits your budget, and gets you.into the sport then it works just fine

Full rifle for that price you can probably turn it I a year or two and not lose much when you want to upgrade

The scope along cost around $500 so I thought why not.
Really enjoy shooting long range now days

Howa makes a great action. When ready you can upgrade to a chassis. It is well worth it to build a rifle on a Hows

I thought that Knoxx is the part of the chassis but I guess I was wrong.
Perhaps, I need a full aluminum chassis...

Knox are just cheap stocks. A KRG Bravo is an excellent low priced chassis. Your action might need slight modification that you can do at home.
