what size limbsaver pad would work best with an HTG stock?

I put one one, i think it was the medium or large, sorry i don't know for sure, i sold the gun. i beleive it was the 5 inch version.

a Medium worked for me. Sold the stock still got the pad...

If you're talking about grind to fit pads, measure the length and width of the buttstock and compare on the limbsaver site.
It helps to have a recoil pad jig when grinding. Midway sells them, and they save on mistakes and stocks.
