If the victim has no real criminal history patrick is screwed and will probably plea out before trial. On the other hand if the victim has a real big violent past /warrants etc and patrick still has friends in high places he will fight . Fuck CNN, but this says the helpful bystander was slashed at by this twat too and he (bystander) thought it was a “medical episode” causing the driver to be unconscious. I’ve woken up quite a few passed out folks, some tense up when you do it, so plausible.
