Does anyone have experience with IMR 7828? What calibers\bullet weights....etc..... and how was / is overall performance? Thanks.

Just bought an 8 lb keg of 7828 SCC. I use it quite a bit in the 6.5x284/140's 264 Win Mag 140's 300 WSM 208's and 210's.
300 Win Mag 180's and 200's.
It's one of my go to powders.

It will work fine in any of the overbore calibers pushing a heavy-for-caliber bullet. I load it for the 300 Weatherby with 180 and 200 grain bullets with good results.

Thanks for the responses. According to the VIHTAVUORI reload data on Lapua's site, it appears that the 7828SSC is in the same burn rates as RL22 and 7828 similar to RL25. Does this correlate in terms of anyone's experience here. I have seen loads listed for the 338 Norma using RL22 or RL25 so I am wondering if 7828 would work.
