This came across my desk a few days ago. It is rare that one can purchase these items made from these materials. For those of you in the process or considering a knife project with a waterproof hollow handle, this is a good leg up. Before somebody suggests that tang less tubes are inherently weak, please be assurd that issue was resolved in the late 70's. Yes, the tube is threaded out on both ends.

304 Stainless Steel Tube threaded on both ends 4" overall length with .825 diameter bore. Thread size: 7/8-18 UN

6061 Aluminum Buttcap threaded 7/8-18 UN thread. The O-ring is: 3mm inside diameter and 20mm outside diameter.

The compass is a BCB.</div></div>
