Has anyone seen this video? Got it from AR15.com website. Thought it's intersting to show that people underestimate the power of a 50 BMG cartridge. Sorry if it a repost.

Even a 308 with FMJ's would poke holes through the blocks and building at that range. The stupidity of some people is staggering sometimes.

Direction/through. potato/potato sort of,

perhaps he is shooting at his familys place and the house/stable is left/destined for destruction,

still I find it to be poor judgment on his behalf not knowing the true backsstop for the bullets.

Well I am almost sort of glad that the 50:s are few and far between back here.

Give the poor guy a break would you. Maybe he is just a bad shot and wanted to make sure that if he did miss the paint can or cinder block that he might hit the building and that would stop the round, geesh.

He was really stretching the maximum effective range of the .50 BMG, don't you think? In my experience, they're not much good past about 20 feet.

Ya i have a bohica 50, with a m33 661 grain, there really only good to 20 or 30 feet or soo. Nothing like strechin it out huh? Goin the distance

Axeman, there is a hole after he shoots the paint can. Youcan see it for about 1/2 sec. I was trying to figure out where the first round went.
