I just got orders to go to lakenheath and I am trying to scrounge up some money to get the dog shipped over there. (gonna be an expensive pain in the ass), and I thought to my self maybe I should sell my rifle as I won't be bringing it with me.The only problem is I don't know how much to sell it for.

-Remington 700 in .308 with about 500 down the tube(PSS series barreled action if it matters to anyone)
-Bell and Carlson medalist A5 stock, with stock texturing done by me
-badger 20 moa base and max 50 rings
-rifle basix trigger I think the pull on it is like 14 oz.
-falcon 4-14 ffp mil/mil
-the bolt handle has a knob by www.boltknobsbybill.com.
I had the barreled action recently duracoated black by Phylodog.
-also harris "S" type bipod with pod-lok on it
Am I aking too much or does this sound about right?

Re: is 1800.00 too much to ask?

List it at what you feel comfortable selling it for. You are going to get some lowball offers, comes with selling. Based on the market and the surplus of good deals, it may be hard to sell right now.
Good luck with your sale.
