    This smells to high heaven.

I seriously hope this whole “Brown paper bag with $50K cash” thing is a huge nothingburger. Because if Homan is guilty of taking a paltry $50K for whatever (assuming illegally or illicitly), then he hit the ICE Battleship broadside with a torpedo.

Reserving judgement, but if Trump tries to duck-and-cover for him, this is a huge issue.

I think a healthy dose of doubt is in order here. I don’t really see trump covering for homan if he knows he did something like that. Mostly because it’s clear that’s not how Trump operates himself and I think he expects the same from his people.

If Trump was used to participating or covering for corruption, it would have e been dug up by now in an attempt to destroy him.

Don’t care if it’s true, fuck the media, fuck the demoncrats.

If he took a “supposed” bribe… who cares.

Fry his ass and replace him. No govt. official should take a cash bribe. I don’t care if he is on “our side”. If he took an envelope full of cash thinking it was for… whatever… fuck him!

Replace him with someone even more likely to throw ‘wets into volcanoes.

None of us should tolerate even the appearance of impropriety.

I’d like to think he is not guilty. But you know what? I want him fried if he is. Deep fried. With breading and Cajun spices. For being an idiot!

    This.
If we lower ourselves to their way, then we're as sorry as they are and dont deserve what we've got. Two wrongs absolutely do not make a right.

That said, I doubt he did that, he has access to the most powerful people in the world. If he needed some dash I bet Musky would have been glad to give him a loan.

Our politicians take bribes everyday, it’s just in a different form than cash in a paper bag.

    As Muskie would say, "HOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUWIE!"

Seriously, "Innocent until proven guilty (beyond a reasonable doubt)" for Homan. Likewise, I can't see Homan risking/ruining his whole career for a mere $50K. I could be wrong, but...

Wikipedia is already stating as a matter of fact that Homan accepted the money:

"In September 2024, Homan was recorded accepting a bag containing $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents. In September 2025, the Trump administration's Department of Justice closed the investigation, citing insufficient evidence."

I believe former Congressman George Santos, sentenced for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, and former Senator Robert Menedez, sentenced for Bribery, Foreign Agent, and Obstruction Offense, set the bar even lower for politicians to crawl under.
