Brandon better line up some pallets of cash as his PR stunt cost the Ukrainian economy billions

Ukraine’s leading party chief blames foreign media for spreading fake news about Russian invasion

“I think when the phase disappears in two or three weeks, we should do a retrospective analysis of how large, very well-known media outlets began to spread information worse than (Russian propagandists) (Olga) Skabeeva and (Vladimir) Solovyov,” Arakhamia said.

“Blatant fake news in CNN, Bloomberg, WSJ… We must study this, since these are elements of a hybrid war.”

Arakhamia also said that the publication of information about the threat of invasion by the Russian army “costs the country $2-3 billion every month.”

“We can’t borrow in foreign markets because the rates are crazy there,”
he continued.

“Many exporters are idle. We count the economic losses every day and then submit this information to our partners through the Foreign Ministry, since they have to understand this.”

“When someone decides to relocate the embassy to (the western city of) Lviv, they must understand that such news will cost the Ukrainian economy several hundred million dollars,” Arakhamia added, referring to recent decisions made by a few foreign governments to move their consulate services away from Kyiv.

The Ukrainian hryvnia has been one such cost of late, with the National Bank of Ukraine pointing to recent drops in the Ukrainian national currency’s price, compared to the dollar, as due solely to “geopolitical risk,” and has been selling foreign reserves to meet demand for currency.

Yesterday saw a significant step up in US combat power on the Continent: two squadrons of the the 388th Fighter Wing with F-35s deployed to Spangdahlem. Damn, this is our foremost fighter asset, ~30 fighters if they are went and it sounds like they did.

Additionally, about half the 336th Fighter Squadron deployed to Poland, plus a bunch of Stratotankers to Ramstein.

I note that 4 DDGs have deployed to Spain/Med, to augment the air defense capabilities of the big 3 carriers NATO group operating next to the Russians. Russians have added significant anti-ship cruise missiles to their Syrian AFB.

More on the 388th and supporting cast:

How does the pressure being put on Syria factor into this?

in the meantime they rape the middle class with 40% taxes, and nobody does anything. because "oh, look Ukraine! Russia!"

yeah, Fuck on that. DC is a bigger enemy of the American citizen than Russia is
you are damn right about that. its the whole "look over there, while I do something over here." We are being raped and taxed far worse than our forefathers were. These last 2 years have totally fucked this country and it sucks! Something has GOT to give.

I’ve thumbed through this thread, as well as other, along with news articles etc, who really believes something is going to happen in Ukraine or is this all a circus act by the fucking MSM?

Insane in the Ukraine!
Things are turning in a somewhat unexpected direction, Donbas republics have started the mass evacuation of the civilians (700k or so) to Russia while able-bodied men are being drafted for in the Militia, veterans of the war are being called to report for service.

The thing that supposedly sparked this was not the shelling but an assassination attempt in Donetsk on the head of the DNR. Although in my book a car bomb that doesn't kill anyone sounds a bit fishy for an assassination attempt. Was later followed in Lugansk with exploding pipeline. Lets just say both could be staged by local hotheads. Damage seems to be minor enough that the pipeline is expected to be back on line within hours, the pipeline was supposedly hit by a shell.

We will see if things continue to heat up or SVR/GRU teams pick up the local big wigs for 'consultations', Moscow tends to aggressively clean up shop if local bosses step out of line. (after Minsk 2 they eliminated practically all of the self styled warlords that emerged from the war , letting Ukrainan SBU claim the hits, the ones left alive went to Moscow and ended up in cushy local jobs but out of Donbas politics for good.)

This now looks as close to war as you get before all hell breaks lose, between Ukraine and Donbas Rebels if that kicks of Russian forces will not be far behind. Will see how they handle this , plenty of hot heads on each side..

Interesting developments after the close of US Markets for the weekend. All in the timing... Follow the money.

Reports of a gas pipeline explosion in Ukraine....

Pellets of cash in slightly different form. I am not sure Black Rock would go for it.;)

''Tymoshenko urged Zelensky to declare to the United States the obligation to write off a debt of 52 billion to Ukraine
“Our external debt today is approximately 52 billion dollars. This means that if now we have friends in the Western world, they are obliged by international law and by the “Budapest Memorandum” to write off 52 billion dollars of public debt,” Tymoshenko said''

This is the same thing Greece wanted in the Euro. “Fuck the refinancing, if everyone has any heart whatsoever they would just take the loss write off what is owed.” Of course, that same hand will be out asking for aid tomorrow.

Kamala definitely needs to go an blow some Ukrainian politicians,as they seem to be ungrateful pricks not going along with Brandon's hysteria.

US Concerned as Ukraine’s President to Visit Munich

US warns Russia could exploit this.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planning to head to the Munich Security Conference this weekend, which is fueling more US predictions of doom over Russia.

US officials say they’re concerned at Zelenskyy leaving, calling it too risky and warning that Russia might find some way to exploit his absence.
This comes with the US predicting an imminent Russian invasion, but as Ukrainian officials say they see the situation as unlikely, they clearly view the Munich visit differently.

The US has plans to hype NATO unity, and likely by extension anti-Russia narratives, which could be why they aren’t going to welcome Zelenskyy, who isn’t in constant panic mode.

You'll have to search far and wide to find Americans who gets jokes about Hohols and their Taras Bulba fantasies. but the irony is that these Pravyi sektor guys think that siding with the globalists will protect their national identity and give them some kind of self-determination. you almost have to feel bad for the stupidity of that logic.

So local action inside Donetsk with supposed Ukrainian saboteurs .

Go-pro's are like dashcams these days so footage stays with the bodies.
Ukrainian go-pro from a probing action.

Now that Fins bested Russians in Hockey final nothing left but...............to make some more $$$ going along with Brandon's plan.

As a result of surging energy prices, Russia's total oil and gas exports, including oil products and liquified natural gas, exceeded $240 billion last year, up 60 percent from $150 billion in 2020

KC-135's ... now that's a joke. In 2002 when deployed to Diego Garcia, they had to scramble 5-6 tails just to ensure 2 could make the mission. They were that unreliable then. That was 20 years ago. Eisenhower was president when they were first built. Let that marinate for a few.

C-130’s make that list as well. B-52’s first flew a year before Ike was president.

Its a real shame they used so much of the B-One’s airframe hours over Afghanistan.

Worn out a lot of airframes over there...

But there's a big difference here you seem to have missed. The c-130j being flown, and built, today are not the same aircraft from the era being built in the last 30 years (not 70). B-52's can arguably be included, the last H model as old as I am. However, the 135's are the original airframes.

By the way, the B-52's have a reliability rate not much higher than 135's. For various reasons, -52's rarely fly FMC. Almost always PMC/PMCM.

I was referring to first flight dates, not the actual in use airframes age.

Not with the airforce but here is a 1956 C-130 still air worthy https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/Search/NNumberResult

I spent lots of time in a sikorsky S-61 that had over 4 YEARS of flight time on the airframe. It worked fine most of the time.

They had a bad batch of compressors, though, and every now and then you would hear a loud ping and then had to hope the pilot saw a clearing nearby to put down in.

ONLY 4 years of airframe time? Lolololol....🙄🤪🤣🤣🤣

I was flying on a C-141 that had over 50,000 hours of flight time. (-141's were originally rated for 27,000 hours). Yeah, on one cross country flight we land with streams of jet fuel coming out of the wing root and pouring on the ramp. Maybe 300 gallons on the ramp. The plane had tcto restrictions due to wing box cracks. Yet, thorough inspection from fuel cell specialists yielded nothing. They signed off as could not duplicate.
That'll make you sleep well at night knowing we still had another 10,000 miles to fly on the mission. (Bosnia/Kosova era)

Back in 78-79(?), the A model was being retro fitted with a 23-25 ft. longer fuselage (added two sections), new wing boxes (B model). I worked heavy maint. on the A's at McChord then. When I went to Germany in 82, I worked the B's, and we could not let them sit on the ramp with more than 100k pounds of fuel, or they would piss all over the ramp.
Now, you want to talk about pos a/c, C-5A's earned their nickname "Hog's in the smog". Those leaked everything (especially when cold out). When ramped for an extended period, we had to keep them under 300k. Don't remember much, too many years have past. Nice to reminisce, tho. Mac

The only A model I worked was the NASA bird. All the rest were B models. I had the honor of crewing 088, Golden Bear, many times.

Honestly ?
Lets hope it was Spetznas, but I'm sure it wasn't.
I'd say little to no training whatsoever.
The back of their plate carriers indicate MGB which in my horrible Russian would probably be the acronym for Ministry of State Security ? KGB was Committee of State Security but that ended so they say with the cold war and the break up? With all the false flags getting waved around who knows but if these guy's are supposed to be Ukraine's current unit to replace the KGB they have to rethink that. No one hates commies more then me but those guy's are not anything like the KGB. Probably some militia guy's suited up for the camera's to back up some false narrative. Anyway they are not in my opinion well trained.
