Jews lived in ghettos,till the European enlightenment period.With Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and fall of empires antisemitism went in overdrive. French were more antisemitic than the Germans, followed by eastern European states .
Poles had their pogroms years before the Germans and even finished with one of the few post Holocaust pogroms in 1946( Kielce). When Wermacht marched east, they found locals quite eager to help with 'final solution' . Most of the extermination camps were in the east and most of the guards were not Germans, they could always find eager Pole or Ukrainian for the job.
One thing which often overlooked is why the Nazis hated Jews , and its not as much religious or ethnic but because of fear of Bolsheviks , like it or not they were always at the helm of Communist/socialist ideas, In Germany, Soviet Union, Israel and now in US

Indeed before Uncle Schmoel took over Hollypedowood and SanFernando production,US was far from 'Jew' friendly and turned back jew refugees from Europe for most of the war, folks vandalizing and beating up Jews in US was no big deal right to end of the war , so its actually quite fascinating how successful the 'tribe' was in subverting US government, now they absolutely run the show and literally anyone wanting to run for higher office has to appease them to even stand a chance, you are more or less reduced to voting for preselected candidates.
When it comes to Palestine you have to consider PA- Fatah and Hamas local quasi-quisling outfits that run the Palestinian ghettos so that IDF doesn't need to , they mostly fight each other and other Palestinian factions, yes sometimes they get of their leash, but that doesn't change what they are in practice.

A lot of what you wrote is inaccurate. Most Auschwitz guards were German and those which spoke polish were ethnic Germans living in border towns. The borders had shifted so many times a lot of the people living there were mixed. To say that polish citizens were happy to serve as guards in a concentration camp is asinine.

Waffen SS had quite a multikulti crew runing the multiethnic prisoner populations . About 50% were Volksdeutsche so technically ethnic Germans but far from border town folks, folk from all occupied territories, ethnic Ukrainians and Balts alone represented near10% of the guards , further 6% so called Trawniki non aryan locals added in 1943 for perimeter duty, lot more worked in camp support roles,by '44 things were going bad and SS droped their standards to purely economical equation. Survivor accounts show that these ''fremdvölkisch Hilfswillige ''guards were all too eager participants in the Murder Inc.

This is a big deal. They shouldn't be in the same neighborhoods; they will never get along. Just saw a synagogue burnt to the ground - the Rabbi was able to save one Torah (it was in a metal encasement = he was prepared), but he said there were hundreds of Arab youths surrounding it at night when they set it on fire. And then there are the Arabs knifing Jews in the bomb shelters. At least the IDF gave 3 hour notice before they took down residential buildings; the Israelis that got hit with missiles that got through "the Dome" didn't have that luxury. The total # I saw for last night was 1050 missiles fired, so they said (they have been known to exaggerate, but if they are, it makes their success rate pretty low). I know there are at least two dome locations, probably more, but each "intervention" point has 3units with 20 missiles each - so 60 missiles before they need to reload. Last time I checked - total Israelis dead 6, total Palestinians dead 48.

My grandmother lived through all that. She told me all about it. There was some of that going on. But not to the extent alleged by your “source”. The Poles were terrorized by the Nazis. If you didn’t cooperate then you and your entire extended family would go to the concentration camp.

Yes, a few got through. They tout 90% accuracy. And as above, only 60 rockets can be fired at a time per "section" of the dome before reloading. But only 6 Israelis dead. Listen to that cheering when they launch them. Versus three hour notice when IDF bombs residential buildings. The Iron Dome is not designed nor intended to fire against every missile/rocket coming in. It calculates the trajectory to determine impact zone and debris fields in order to make a decision to fire or not.
YES rockets get through and do hit near homes and direct hit to homes but those are very very very few and typically only when the falling debris of 2 rockets stand the chance to injure more people than the single incoming rocket making it through.

If the numbers are correct from 2000 to 2013..... 8,749 rockets had been launched against Israel and in the same time frame 5,047 mortar rounds have been fired. That works out to an average of 1,061 per year for 13 years.
So if you lived in Illinois and Michigan was sending over a 1,000 rockets a year into your state and your told not to retaliate....would you sit there and just do nothing?
I'm not a politician etc... but if I lived in Israel..... I'd be voting for hitting the bad guys with everything we had. Right or wrong....your only going to take so much and or if you get intel that the bad guys are planning to do something....your gonna start hitting back first and not wait for permission from anyone.

Frank - agree, although I would argue there is not right or wrong, to retaliate and furthermore preemptively strike these guys who have been consistently and arbitrarily firing on Israeli towns is ABSOLUTELY the right thing.

The best articles about the Trump/Kushner approach to the ME were written by Mike Doran. He was really the guy who was the first both to understand the major conflict in Islam during the Bush wars, and also the one who kind of led the thought way for the Trump plan. Anyway, it is basically the idea that Middle Eastern nations understand power politics. That is how they operate, which has led to much of the detente between Israel and the Saudi backed ME, in that the Saudis might not like the idea of Israel, but they understood it was one of the three powers in the ME, with them and Iran, and treated them accordingly. Trump also got that, and worked in that framework. But the weak point to his peace plan was that it kind of required a non-idiotic government in the US to also recognize and support the power dynamic of Israel and Saudi vs Iran. It fails when we have a feckless government who goes back to the old Western fantasy of the "Palestinians" being the lynchpin, and not the concept of raw political power.
I think Israel shows a lot of restraint, more than required or necessary. If Canadians were shelling border towns, I want Canada turned to glass.

They give the advance notice to avoid civilian, esp.children casualties. But just like Iraq (I'm thinking specifically Sadr city), Muslims are always willing to put their own children at risk either as shields or for "optics".
Edit: Majority of children killed have been due to misfired Gaza rockets.
