Gunsmithing Jewell AR-15 Trigger Adjustment

Ok,

So I put a Lilja barrel on my AR the other day... shoots GREAT, but a very strange little thing happened.

I got two double fires out of it in 30 rounds.

So... I read somewhere this mechanical malfunction can be th result of not having adjusted the trigger properly.

Before I send it back I'd like to see if anyone has any idea what causes a basically new Jewell AR-15 trigger to do this?

Adjust first stage pull weight heavier(torsion spring engaged in notched wheel on LH side) & run 100 rounds thru the rifle prior to adjusting for light pull weight.

I was at the very front notch on the wheel.

So I moved it to the middle...

Went to the range and had a few double shots.

Moved the 1st stage a few more slots back, and finished the day (about 100 rnds) without issue.

Slightly adjusted the 2nd stage to ensure that it wouldn't do it anymore.

I'll shoot it some more and see if the issue happens again.

(Though it appears that it's fine now.)
