So a guy wants one of my AR lower halves enough that he's swapping me a Kahr CW45 for it.

I figure another small carry 45 can't hurt, and just wanted to post a thread so that by the time I swap this evening I can have all the internet horror stories to ruin my fun and make me feel horible about my exchange.

Actual experience not necessary, parroted hearsay sounds more knowledgable anyway...

BS aside, who makes a quality relatively inexpensive IWB other than HNH for these puppies?

Re: Kahr CW45

I don't own one, but I've shot one. I was pleasantly surprised at the ergonomics and the trigger. It made shooting nicely centered clusters easy. Recoil was a little brisk, and many might find it uncomfortable, but I was able to unload a mag in about 2 1/2 seconds and keep 'em all in a palm-sized group at 10 yards. The one I shot functioned flawlessly with everything from 185 grain CorBon +Ps to 230 grain ball.

As for good quality, reasonably priced holsters...I hope you don't think I'm an ass for suggesting it, but you might consider making your own. I started doing my own leather crafting after buying a Ruger LCR and finding that selection was slim and prices unreasonable. I made my own IWB for about $10 in materials and two hours invested and it compares favorably with professionally made holsters costing six times as much.

In that the Kahr is striker fired; yes, the trigger movement through full range is normal, unless modified.
