Karsten or DIP kydex cheek rest?

Just trying to do a quick "A" vs "B on these two, and wondered if anyone had any feedback on which could be a good choice. From what I can gather, the Karsten is like the 'original' and well- respected...but also kinda difficult to find.

The DIP variant looks pretty similar...maybe the bolt type seemed a little lighter duty. I'm guessing this can also be a sure thing...give the stellar rep of DIP and how they support the community.

Am I just splitting hairs and just buy whichever is cheaper?

**edit** This is on a CZ 455 w/ manners T4CZ...sorry I forgot to mention that.

I either emailed or pm'd Karsten and had my cheek piece at my door in a few days. They are heavy duty Kydex and his are the originals as far as I know.

I'll look through my stuff and see if I can find how I ordered.

By the way, "just get whichever is cheaper" is usually not the best way to go.

Just pm hide member Karsten and get one. He was on a few hours ago.

I have both and the karstens is made of a thicker stiffer kydex material. Also they are both similar but not exactly the same shape. I will see if I can take pictures tomorrow to show you the difference.
