Anyone know what else they fixed or added? Sorry if this is a duplicate. Been having a ton of trouble with the compass.

I don't use both of these systems the firmware supports and don't want update if it's not needed.

    Kestrel FW Update 1.15:

Kestrel users are now able to download FW 1.15. The following is a list of changes:

    FW 1.15
Fixes issue where Bushnell CONX Range Finder would clear direction of fire when populating range.

    FW 1.14
Adds compatibility with Steiner M830r Range Finder.

Not sure on fixes so I can’t help you there. As far as calibrating the compass I found a solution. You need to tip the Z axis a few degrees to the North while rotating and it will calibrate. If you are in the middle of an unknown area then N is also unknown, just keep tipping in all directions until the first (1) of the 3 rotations is displayed on the screen. Now you have the direction to tip. Calibrate and you are good. Not sure why but this works every time on my Kestrel 5700.

Thanks for your help. Will give that a shot, pardon the pun. Lol

Big thanks to you blowby, that tilt worked awesome. A little less frustrating.
